commensurate

The World as He Finds Itから。

commensurate: corresponding in size or degree

what Mr. Obama needed to do, above all, was fight for an economic plan commensurate with the scale of the crisis.

from late Latin commensuratus, from com- 'together' + mensuratus, past participle of mensurare 'to measure'.
