Pretty Good Number One: An American Family Eats Tokyo
I did have several sushi meals, including one omakase (chef’s choice) dinner at a well-regarded neighborhood joint where the meal ended with a lovely miso soup full of meaty fish bones.
"a revered style of Japanese dining where the chef carefully chooses the menu based on his expertice with the dishes"
"... a form of Japanese dining in which guests leave themeslves in the hands of a chef and receive a meal which is seasonal, elegant, artistic and uses the finest ingredients available..."
"(in a Japanese restaurant) a type of meal consisting of dishes selected by the chef"
