「触覚」を英語で？

JapanTimesの記事、"On the ubiquity of great design"に以下のような一文がありました。
"Visual stimulus is one thing, but tactile representations make the connection between ideas and “making” more potent and tangible."
「映像のインパクトもひとつの方法だが、触覚による演出は、よりインパクトがあって実感できる形でアイデアと”ものづくり”を結びつける。」

TheFreeDictionaryによると、
"tactile" = a. Perceptible to the sense of touch; tangible.
　　　　　　　（触って感じることができる。）
b. Characterized by or conveying an illusion of tangibility
　　　　　　（触感によって表される、伝えられる）
