merriam-websterのサイトでは以下のように説明されています。

"rubbish tip/dump" = "an area of land where people can dump things that are no longer useful or wanted and that are being been thrown out"

「人々が不要物を捨てることができて、物が捨てられている場所」

"rubbish tip"はイギリス英語で、"rubbish dump"のほうが一般的です。
